Product Engineering

Built to ship. Designed to last.

End-to-end product engineering for companies that want their technology to be a competitive advantage, not a maintenance burden.

The Problem

You've been through two development agencies. The code works until it doesn't. The architecture made sense at the time. Nobody who built it is there to explain it. You need to ship a major feature and you're not sure the foundation can hold it.

What We Do

What a Product Engineering Engagement Includes

Technical Discovery

Architecture design, API contracts, and engineering scoping before a line of code is written.

Full-Stack Development

Web, mobile, and API development with cloud-native architecture built in from day one.

Mobile Engineering

React Native and native iOS/Android development with shared business logic where it makes sense.

Team Augmentation

Senior engineers embedded in your team — with the context and accountability of partners, not vendors.

Platform Modernization

Legacy system modernization and re-platforming with a path that keeps the business running throughout.

Handoff & Enablement

Documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer so your team owns what we built.

How We Work

The Engagement Process

1

Technical Discovery

1–2 weeks

Requirements, architecture design, API contracts, and milestone scoping — before any code.

2

Foundation Sprint

1–2 weeks

Core infrastructure, CI/CD, environments, and base architecture. The right foundation from week one.

3

Iterative Build

4–16 weeks

Fortnightly sprints with working software every cycle. No six-month silence before the reveal.

4

Stabilization

1–2 weeks

Performance optimization, load testing, security hardening, and production readiness review.

5

Handoff

1 week

Full documentation, runbooks, architecture decision records, and knowledge transfer sessions.

Product Engineering

We build software products the way we’d build our own — with the architecture front-of-mind, the user experience designed before a line of code is written, and the engineering practices in place that make iteration fast and technical debt a choice rather than an inevitability.

Architecture Before Code

Every product engagement starts with a technical discovery phase. We design the architecture, agree on API contracts, and validate the technical approach before the first sprint begins. This phase costs a fraction of the total engagement and prevents the expensive mid-project rewrites that happen when architecture is deferred.

What We Build

Full-stack web applications, mobile applications, APIs, internal tools, and data platforms. We work across the stack, with a preference for TypeScript-first stacks and cloud-native infrastructure.

Handoff as a Deliverable

We treat handoff as a first-class deliverable, not an afterthought. Every project ends with documentation, runbooks, architecture decision records, and knowledge transfer sessions. When we leave, your team understands the system.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different from a typical software agency?

Three ways: we start with architecture, not code; we're accountable for outcomes, not hours; and we build with handoff as a first-class deliverable. When we finish, your team understands the system and can maintain it independently.

Do you build MVPs?

Yes — but we don't build disposable MVPs. We build MVPs with the architectural foundations that don't require a full rewrite when they work. A well-designed MVP costs 20–30% more upfront and avoids a full rewrite six months later.

Can you take over a project started by another agency?

Yes. We've done this many times. We start with a technical assessment to understand what was built and what needs to change before we extend it.

Do you work as a team extension or on fixed-scope projects?

Both. We prefer a discovery engagement first to scope fixed-price milestones accurately. For team extension, we typically work in 3-month rolling engagements.

Ready to start?

We respond within one business day. No sales team. You'll talk to an engineer.
